Graceful Touches from Kulp, Turkey's Silk Center

In Kulp, which shoulders 70% of Turkey's raw silk cocoon production, we bring pure silk to meet art on traditional looms.

Producing since 2008

From Cocoon to Cloth, An Ancient Anatolian Story

Our cooperative, established in 2008 in Kulp district, united Kulp cocoon producers who supply a large portion of Turkey's silk needs under a single roof.

Through our women's skill, we have institutionalized our cocoon production capacity and, with support from the Agriculture Ministry and Kozabirlik, transform silk threads into hand-woven fabrics.

Today, with the support of automatic looms and the professional mentorship of GAP Bedesten, we aim to bring Kulp silk to its rightful place in the world market.

The grace of silk, the bounty of Kulp, and the labor of women weave together

Strengths

  • We introduce Kulp's strength—supplying 70% of Türkiye's raw cocoon production—to the world through every product we create.
  • We weave silk not through industrial machinery, but on traditional hand looms where our women's hands bring it to life.
  • We transform nature's most precious fiber into high-value products created with respect for ecological balance.
  • Since 2008, we've supported cocoon producers and weaver women in Kulp, strengthening the local economy with threads of silk.
