A Movement of Hope
The Şırnak Women's Hands Cooperative, established in 2021 with the support of TOBB and the Şırnak Governorate, became a symbol of hope and solidarity as the city's first women's enterprise. Our cooperative, founded on the faith of 9 women at the start, has grown into a large family that today provides income and employment for 25 women.
Through our sales office in the city center, we keep our brand alive while producing a wide range of products—from honey to tahini, from gum mastic to carpets. Each of our products reflects the struggles of women from Şırnak to participate in economic life and our commitment to protecting local values.
Today, our cooperative is preparing for a new journey spanning from local production to online markets, taking steps toward digitalization and branding. Our primary goal is to reach all corners of Türkiye with Şırnak's regional delicacies and handcrafted products through digital channels.
