A Collective Effort Knitted Together in Solidarity
Asrın İmecesi Women's Cooperative was founded in Adıyaman in 2024. It came together so that women who lost their husbands and children in the earthquake could be supported financially and earn their living.
Today 11 women make hand-knitted bags, prayer rug sets and gift items. Their products reach buyers through local sales and fairs.
The cooperative's members have received training through the Sabancı Foundation's Dijitalde Hayat programme.
