Women Getting Back on Their Feet Through Production
AKAD Adıyaman Women's Initiative Production and Management Cooperative has been producing in Adıyaman since 2021, through the labor of 7 women.
After the earthquake the women came together to get back on their feet and grow stronger in solidarity, setting out under the cooperative's roof on a journey of both production and hope.
Certified in farming and seedling planting, the cooperative sells its cucumbers, onions and other produce through local markets, fairs, Instagram and WhatsApp. It carries on its work with KEDV training and the support of the SEECO Project.
